truck rehearsal retrospective

Taken with my D80 in 2009, these girls are rehearsing for the first production to go into the Hull Truck Theatre’s new home. The room was small and it was raining outside, so the challenge was to do the best with the light I had while waiting for a moment in the choreography that enabled the image to say something about the new venue as well as making compositional sense.

The theatre is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
