ballroom touch or transition

Another shot, this time from the evening’s performance of Monika Molnar’s DanceMyWay Gala, this is of a Latin Ballroom transition. I think it’s interesting because anyone seeped in the dance itself would be unlikely to take a photograph at this time. Neither of the dancers are at the full extent of their move and it’s exactly this fact that makes it an attractive image.

Its’s also interesting because of the two different interpretations that viewers might make: a casual non-dancing viewer might see this as a wonderfully intimate moment (in isolation that’s what it would say to me) while a dancer might instead simply see it as a well rehearsed intermediate step.
