I had a fantastic time at the first Vuokatti Dance Festival in Finland last year where, apart from all kinds of public performances in the rain, they held the first over-30s dance competition of its kind in the world. What still makes me smile is how much everyone seemed to enjoy it, the competitors threw themselves into their performances and all seemed to have a marvelous time. I was told yesterday that they’ve started working on the website for this year’s festival. Hopefully to be able to get back and see how things change.
