LCP Dancers using transparent props in the production of 'Rights (?)'

I had a fantastic day of shooting yesterday. The schedule started with a high speed James-Bond style tour of the Thames (which included the release of the best part of 250,000 balloons) celebrating the launch of The Rib Tours Experience, then necessitated a rushed trip over to the Royal Albert Hall for the photocall of Swan Lake On Ice before a return back East for a flashmob at Westfields in Stratford (organised by East London Dance and the English National Ballet) before finishing at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre for the premier of Rights (?) by LCP Dance Theatre.

Each shoot was better than the one before. The rib boat trip was exhilarating but finished too late for me to get to Swan Lake on Ice, the flashmob was enormous fun (I’ll post more on that later) and the performance of Rights (?) was visually arresting and so spellbinding in places that I nearly forgot to take photos!

I’ve selected this shot because it gives an idea of the troupe’s energy and the choreographer’s interestingly off-beat approach.
