Tobago’s London Celebration: 50 Years of Independence

Part of tonight’s celebration of Independence was a lesson in Carnival dancing, in preparation for Notting Hill Carnival this weekend. These two ladies were our teachers. The second portrait shows the dancer resting – those headdresses are quite heavy.
