Elegant Iptedaa

This elegantly joyful Tarana based on dance to a chorus of words which are simply the sounds produced by the Tabla. Part of the Akademi Community Performance at Arts In Parliament, 10th August, 2012.

Iptedaa is a technical Tarana item, which means it does not depict a story or message but instead showcases Kathak dance through intricate footwork, rhythmic hand gestures and fast spins.
