RAD Student Auditions and Escuela de Baile Kids Dancing

This is one of a series of images taken at the rehearsals of this year’s Escuela de Baile School Spectacular at the Peacock Theatre in London. I’ve posted this as a break from Carnival and Tango shots (although I’ll resume them soon). I like the shot because it shows how earnestly the kids were rehearsing.

Step Into Dance (part of the Royal Academy of Dance) are holding auditions on Sunday 7th October to recruit students into their new Musical Theatre Company. This company provides training by Sonny Ward and rehearses at the RAD HQ every Sunday between 3pm and 5pm. The blurb says that ‘Students in the company get to meet other like minded, talented young people and also perform at prestigious venues across London. I’ll profile Sonny when I take his portrait.
