Ineluctable

Time for a change. Every Monday I’m going to pick images that I think reflect an interesting sounding word, some of which I hope that you will suggest. I picked this word out of a book I’m reading mostly because I like the sound but also because it fits with what is happening around me at the moment (although I’m not complaining). I’ve selected these images because I believe that both the photographs and the story behind them have elements of ineluctability.

Tomorrow’s Men was an all-male dance performance. Many websites mistakenly refer to it as a company, which is named The Firm. It was created by Jeanefer Irons with other male professional dancers. The intended legacy of the Canary Wharf performance is to develop the project by building partnerships with art centres, pupil referral units and social service agencies and to enable more young men to access the opportunity it presents. It’ll be interesting to see what – if anything – happens next.
