All Images: Smiling dancers at the Sunday milonga on HMS President

I mislaid these images of tango dancers on HMS President for quite a while (long story) and only recently found them. I really like the images of smiling dancers I’ve posted here, not for any particular photographic technique but because everyone is enjoying themselves so much.

I’ve been meaning to go back since. I hope there will be enough time to go between now and when I go in search of flamenco cultural roots in Spain next year.

While dancing on a boat and all that entails can be quite a challenge, you only need to look at the faces of these dancers to know that the atmosphere is friendly, and I had so many shots of people enjoying their dances that I had to post more images here than normal.
