This shot is one from a brilliant last collabo set; Boadicea, Unity and Methods of Movement together.

I’ve not finished processing the shots from tonight but decided to work backwards to get this out as soon as possible. I’m still buzzing from tonight’s show (just as well because I’ll be working on the shots until at least 3am) and I’m wondering if I can persuade the East London Dance Powers That Be to let me come back and photograph tomorrow’s Collabo too.

I’ve not posted all week because I’ve been so busy, but Flange was @Caravaggio’s #WordyMonday suggestion. It’s an appropriate interpretation of ‘Flange’ (which Wiki describes as ‘A flange is an external or internal ridge, or rim (lip), for strength’) because the dancers are forming both external and internal ridges and the strength is clear. Anyone can suggest a #WordyMonday word at https://www.facebook.com/CaroleEdrichPhotography, then I’ll interpret that word as a dance photograph. Other photographers are welcome to do the same – if they post a link on the same day on facebook or here we’ll all know where to look!
