The youngest hoop workshop attendee at Watermans Big Dance Weekender 2013
On Saturday I went to Brentford to cover the Watermans Big Dance Weekender for Dance Today. This comprised of a number of performances, taster sessions and workshops one of which was hula hooping. The workshop, which was ably and generously facilitated by multi-talented hula boy Craig Reid was enormous fun and the youngest attendee was easily the best. I have her family’s permission to share shots of her here and in Dance Today Magazine.

The hoops in these shots meet the criteria of all of the dictionary.com definitions of ‘loose’ which is why I’ve chosen these images for this week’s #WordyMonday. I also think both Craig and this young lady are really cool.
I joined the workshop too, of course, and am still recovering from hula bruising which I understand is quite normal.
