This Monday has come around amazingly quickly, probably because I spent two days in bed as a result of working myself sick. Nonetheless, pretty much everything is running to schedule and I’m expecting to finish the angel shoots tomorrow and to finish processing the photos from them a day or so later. Choosing which images go on to the next stage will be hard, but I only have a day to do it so can’t agonise too much over it which is great.

This WordyMonday image was suggested by Eleanor Marriott. I have chosen a recent shot of Yoko Isaji dancing flamenco with the manton because I think that in this shot she has a regal bearing (very flamenco) and also because I like the contrast with the exploding telephone box.

This shot is one of a number I took at Images In Frames and my composition was limited in that I was determined to give sufficient context to allow locals to recognise the shop. Surprisingly, although the exploding telephone box was what I had in my mind’s eye for the shot others worked far better. However can’t post one of them until I’ve made a decision as to which I should take forward into my project.

Next week I’ll interpret the word ‘rebirth’ for WordyMonday. Find other WordyMonday posts here.
