Obsessed, A #WordyMonday dance photography interpretation

I choose this shot for this week’s #WordyMonday challenge, partly to reflect the change in weather but also because I think Margot’s portrayal of obsession is very clear.

Margot, an actor/producer, asked me to take some shots for her portfolio. We have a straight portrait session booked but this pouring rain was too good an opportunity to miss. I shot these with her moving (as opposed to hitting poses) but rather than discussing movement, patterns and shapes, as I would with a dancer, we concentrated on scenarios and emotions. I think it worked well.
