Photo interpretation of Intrinsic for #WordyMonday
Learning how to choose between panning, motion blur and frozen motion are great ways to develop photographic skills. That’s why I take City Academy photography students there, it’s an important part of the day. We were particularly lucky on the last course, as a dance troupe agreed to repeat their entire choreography so that the students could shoot them (it helped that I knew some of them already). Shooting fast-moving dancers wearing black in variable light is nearly as difficult as it gets, so this was great experience for the people on the course.
That’s why I choose images of these dancers for my interpretation of the word Intrinsic, a word suggested by Ms Hedgehog some time ago. It would be great if shooting dancers could become an intrinsic part of the course, and you’ll see from these images that they look as if they belong.
Next week’s word is Infinite.
