The word reliquary was suggested by Ms Hedgehog some time ago. I’ve been leaving it as I thought the interpretation would be quite challenging. However, as often happens with these things, when the time came this morning it was immediately clear which images I should use.

A reliquary is a receptacle or repository for relics, so what better images to select than those from Anna Buonomo‘s multi-disciplinary creation, Story of a Night Pianist.

Telling the story of five ghostly characters from the past seeking refuge in the music composed and played by a pianist, it’s based loosely on a dream related to Anna by the musician Lorenzo Turchi Floris.
