This is a bit of a cop-out, but follows directly from a discussion on my facebook page and this post from last week. I’ve selected Shobhana Jeyasingh Dance to represent it because it was the company who issued the questionnaire that caused the discussion in the first place.
The image is of a piece specially commissioned for Big Dance that used a mixture of the troupe and gifted younger dancers and was commissioned for Big Dance 2010.
