Enantiomorph on #wordymonday
Serendipitously, Maria and Ekin performed Red Tears on Friday as part of this years Resolution series at The Place in London’s Euston and their dance is possibly the best representation of enantiomoprh that I could have expected. Light and dark, red and black, good and bad, innocence and evil. It says on the Resolution! programme that; ‘Red Tears represents the duality of being alive. The light and the shadow. Red tears because they are not just salty but filled with an ocean of emotion’.
Since the medical meaning of enantiomorph is ‘either of two crystals, molecules or compounds that are non-identical mirror images of each other’ I’ve chosen two shots to represent the word, and added a final shot so that you can see how the dancers represent the word together, too.
