Eleanor Marriott suggested the word fire some time ago and last week’s performance of Fire by the Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan at Sadler’s Wells last week seems just right. I’ve also put a filter on it (something I rarely do) so that I could use it as part of a discussion on photographic applications of sfumato, tenebrism and chiaroscuro in the City Academy photography workshop I gave yesterday.
You’ve probably noticed I’m blogging fewer words. It’s because I’m extra busy with Sadler’s Wells Flamenco Festival.
