It should be very clear that I support the young dancers and organiser of One Youth Dance wherever I can, and I hope you’ve been enjoying the quotes that I post with shots of them dancing every Friday. Now there’s something you can do to help them too, especially if you’re between 11 and 19 years old.

You’ll remember I wrote about them for Dance Today in March 2014 and I seem to remember that their a 12-hour pyjama danceathon was first mooted soon after. One October 18th, in partnership with Platform, it will become a reality. They are challenging young dancers to complete a 12 hour dance marathon and hope to raise £3,000 – the equivalent of 12 bursaries to meet the cost of supporting young dancers who can’t find the money themselves.
