“The true measure of a person is not where they stand in times of comfort and convenience, but where they stand in times of challenge and controversy” is a quote from Martin Luther King. I found it while looking through pictures I took of of the campaign to save James Price Point in Broome, Australia a few years ago. It’s particularly apposite for me at the moment for all kinds of reasons, but also for other people because of the reaction to Charlie Hebdo so I decided to share both source and quote in this post.
