With every new piece, you make mistakes and you learn. So it’s important to get on and have another go.” McGregor originally came from my neck of the woods and somebody once told me he worked in dance at Redbridge Sports Centre (which I’ve not tried to verify). Wayne McGregor | Random Dance’s ATOMOS is a sculptural choreography of ten bodies accompanied by lighting designer Lucy Carter and filmmaker Ravi Deepres as well as Studio XO of wearable technologies. Wayne McGregor often combines dance art and science and I covered his ‘thinking with the body‘ exhibition some time ago.
