Every day lost on which we have not danced…

Dancer from Gala Flamenco, Sadler’s Wells Flamenco Festival and quote from Nietzche, (c) Carole Edrich 2015
This week’s inspirational dance quote by Friedrich Nietzche is; “We should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once”. It seems that Nietzche connected with the divine through dance, as he danced daily, saying it was his “only kind of piety”. He seems to have felt as strongly about dance as God. As well as the phrase; “God is dead” he also said; “I would believe only in a God that knows how to dance.”
