“There was never a merry world since the fairies left off dancing” is a quote by John Selden. John Selden (1584-1654) is an English jurist and Oxford scholar. He also said; “Ignorance of the law excuses no man; not that all men know the law, but because ’tis an excuse every man will plead, and no man can tell how to confute him.”
I will be posting a dance photograph and dance quote and a little related history every Friday this year. If you would like your favourite quote included then please let me know.
