Here’s a wonderful opportunity for one lucky person to win a pair of tickets to see the Mariinsky Ballet at the Millennium Centre in Wales, any time between THursday 14th and Sunday 17th April.
Choose from dance created by Dutch choreographer Hans Van Manen set to Astor Piazzolla’s music (unsurprisingly called 5 Tangos); Infra, a piece originally created for The Royal Ballet by Wayne McGregor in 2008 with Jerome Robbins’ piece In The Night (created for New York City Ballet iin 1970) to Chopin’s Nocturnes for solo piano or Sacre, Sasha Waltz’s 2013 choreography for the Mariinsky Ballet to The Rite of Spring with Alexei Ratmansky’s choreography Concerto DSCH to Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No.2 in F Major.
If these aren’t your bag, take a little one to the Sunday lunchtime Family Concert of Peter and the Wolf and the Suite from the Nutracker.
To win, just send me a message with your favourite dance quote or proverb and I’ll choose the winner out of a hat in the evening of Sunday 10th April. If you don’t win, you can book tickets here.
