This week’s inspirational dance quote ‘Dancing is music made visible’ is from George Balanchine.

Balanchine was so well able to communicate with great composers like Igor Stravinsky and translate music into dance more readily because of his musical education. He started learning the piano at just five years old and studied piano, musical theory, composition, harmony and counterpoint at the state’s Conservatory of Music.
