Call Out for Dance Videos – DEADLINE EXTENDED

Call out poster for videos, (c) Carole Edrich 2019
We are producing a prestigious event to showcase dance work on June 13th in Central London as part of our work in helping dancers earn.
To go with it, we are looking for dance videos that do one of the following: · convey strong social messages · demonstrate social impact · explore an important aspect of our lives or society.
We will also be introducing the ideas that drive DanceGRiST, some of the dancers we are working with, and the magazine app. The app, which is by and for dancers and those who love dance is beautiful. It is also free and you can download it from Amazon Apps, Android Play or iTunes. Just search Dance Grist to find it.
At this event we want to include a diverse range of videos that will showcase the work of all kinds of people in the dance and movement arts sector. We want as big a range as possible, so are particularly interested in those underrepresented in mainstream performance venues.
To have your short video considered, post a link below this entry. You will need to register or sign in. You will not need to pay to do so.
The video should be 3 minutes or less.
Deadline to submit: 9midnight on 19th May.
We will let successful applicants know on 21st May.
In keeping with our commitment to help dancers earn, we plan to pay those we have chosen between £25 and £100. This is not negotiable, but will be clearly set out in your contract.
