Tipples at TRAP

On Saturday 29th February, Stella Creasy will swap the front bench for the DJ booth. James Lavelle (Unkle and Mo’Wax), Dr. LX Paterson (The Orb), Dub Pistols, Lia Mice and Dennis Bovell are also among the line-up in aid of a Walthamstow food bank.
Held on the Ravenswood Industrial Estate, in the Wild Card Brewery, Pillars Brewery, TRAP, Mother’s Ruin and The Blitz Factory, the PRs promise a ‘wicked evening’. That remains to be seen. But there will be dance, it’s all for a very good cause and should be fun.
Apparently Stella Creasy MP said: “There are only two things that residents need to know when I choose the music – no requests, no repeats!. There are only two things they need to know about Eat or Heat too – it’s doing an amazing job helping many people in our local community struggling as a result of austerity and it’s really easy to donate either food or money to ensure this vital work continues. It’s going to be a great night and it continues to be a great way to show your support for our local foodbank.”
The Ravenswood Eat or Heat event is family friendly until 8pm. There is a daytime disco for toddlers and children with mix of 80s rock and blockbuster soundtracks in The Blitz Factory from 2pm until 4pm.
Eat or Heat has three food banks across Walthamstow. The charity needs food, volunteers, and money to keep going.

Prizes include a Perky Blenders coffee selection box and French Press, cases of Wild Card Brewery beer, Crafty Apple cider, concert tickets and more.
